Charges have been dropped against protestors arrested at the Brayton Point power plant.
Forty-four people were arrested at the plant July 28.
They were among 300 people demonstrating against a coal delivery at the power station, which they say is an environmental danger.
Charges against the 44 defendants were dismissed in exchange for a $100 payment from each person arrested, which will go to cover extra police costs from the day of the protest.
