State police on Friday identified the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash on the Sagamore Bridge as an Israeli man. They did not release his name.

Police said they're searching for a pickup truck that they say caused the crash at about 8 p.m. Thursday.

They said a dark-colored pickup truck hit another pickup traveling eastbound from behind, causing that pickup truck to crash head-on into a rented minivan.

Police said passengers, including several children, in the minivan were hurt. They are also from Israel. A 43-year-old Sandwich man driving the second pickup truck was seriously injured when he was thrown from the vehicle.

State police have revised the description of the pickup truck they're looking for.  They said the truck likely has minor or moderate damage to its left front end or left side.  It was last seen heading east on Route 6.

State police asked anyone with information about the truck to call them at 508-759-4488.
