Timeline of incidents involving Aaron Hernandez

Take a look through the recent incidents involving former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.

April 2007: A worker at The Swamp Restaurant in Gainesville, Fla. claims then 17-year-old Aaron Hernandez punched him and burst his ear drum. Hernandez's University of Florida teammate Tim Tebow is a witness. No charges were filed.

September 2007: Massachusetts police have inquired with Gainesville police about Hernandez's involvement in a double shooing in Florida. Hernandez was questioned by Florida police soon after the incident. The victims survive. No charges were filed and the investigation remains open.

August 2008: Hernandez is suspended one game at the University of Florida after failing a marijuana test.

June 2012: Police are called to a home in Los Angeles for a domestic incident involving Hernandez. No charges are filed.

July 2012: Two people are killed during a shooting in Boston. Police are investigating a possible link to Hernandez.

February: An acquaintance claims Hernandez shot him in the face after an argument outside a Florida strip club. Hernandez is currently being sued, but police are no longer investigating.

March: Police are called to a home in Los Angeles for a domestic incident involving Hernandez. The former Patriots player punches glass and cuts his wrist. No charges are filed.

April: Police are called to a home in Los Angeles for a domestic incident involving Hernandez. A neighbor hears yelling and items being thrown. No charges are filed.

May: Hernandez appears to be a victim in an incident outside of a Providence bar. Police say Hernandez player was being taunted by another man. Several other men joined the man and they continued to taunt Hernandez. An acquaintance of Hernandez discards a gun under a parked car. The acquaintance flees and police confiscate the gun. Several men are detained in the incident, but neither Hernandez nor the acquaintance face charges.

June: Hernandez is charged in the killing of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. He has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge and five other gun-related charges. Hernandez is currently being held at the Bristol County Jail and House of Correction.
