A local neighborhood rallied Saturday night behind two Boston Marathon bombing victims, Celeste Corcoran and her daughter Sydney Corcoran.
Family, friends and food were the main ingredients that helped make the Corcoran Strong Pasta Dinner a success.
"This is fantastic," Celeste Corcoran said. "This means everything to me. A lot of these people are old friends. Some of these people are strangers. They're friends of my brother in law and sister in law."
Celeste's sister-in-law and Warwick neighbors helped organized the event.
Organizers said about 300 people attended and they raised $8,000. All of the money is going to the Celeste and Sydney Recovery Fund. It has raised $700,000 of its $1 million goal.
Celeste Corcoran had both of her legs amputated below the knee, and Sydney suffered several injuries after being hit by shrapnel.
"I'm doing great," Sydney Corcoran said. "So far, so good. Keeping my fingers crossed."
"I'm doing great," Celeste Corcoran said. "Good days and bad days, but mostly good days."
