BURRILLVILLE, R.I. -

A Pascoag fire captain accused of indecent exposure has been suspended with pay, the NBC 10 I-Team has learned.

Adam Lee was arrested and charged after two volunteer firefighters said he exposed himself to them inside his apartment on March 28 while off duty.

A report from the Burrillville Police Department said he may have been drinking at the time.

Pascoag's chief said an internal investigation failed to prove what happened.

Lee remains free on personal recognizance bail.

The I-Team has also learned that Lee is named in a sexual harassment lawsuit against the Pascoag Fire District.

According to court paperwork, a female employee says she was touched in a sexual manner and told that women had no place working at the fire department.

The chief said the lawsuit is unrelated to Lee's recent arrest.
