Pawtucket police said Thursday that they're looking for a red sedan, possibly a Hyundai Elantra, in connection with a fatal hit-and-run case.

Police said 67-year-old Lauretta Hobbs was struck and killed on Lonsdale Avenue near Beecher Street at about 2 a.m. on March 9. Police said the woman was homeless.

Police said witnesses told them they saw a red four-door car parked nearby with two people in it. One of them was a heavyset white woman with shoulder-length brown hair. The second person was a white man with short, faded hair, a chinstrap-style beard and a thin moustache.

Police asked anyone with information about the car or the two people to call the Major Crimes Unit at 401-727-9100.
