URI freezes tuition for 2013-14

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. -

Tuition at the University of Rhode Island will not be going up next year.

The president of URI said that financial aid has increased to record levels.

The tuition freeze for 2013-2014 will include both Rhode Islanders and out-of-state students.

URI received a record number of applications for the incoming 2013 freshman class.
