
One man is under arrest after a two-vehicle accident on Service Road 7 in Providence. The crash happened at about 1 a.m. Thursday.
Police said a cab driver was found unconscious inside his cab and transported to Rhode Island Hospital. He has been identified as Joe Burroughs, 36 of Fall River.
Police said a Nissan Altima, driven by 26-year-old Jason Lince of Providence apparently hit the left rear quarter of the cab, causing the cab to rollover.
Lince fled the scene but was found by police on West Fountain Street.
He faces criminal charges including driving after suspension of a license, reckless driving and duty to stop for an accident involving personal injury plus three traffic violations.
