CRANSTON, R.I. -

NBC 10's Molly O'Brien took part in a statewide reading day Monday, reading to the students at Hope Highlands elementary school in Cranston.

Her book, by local author Joy Feldman, called "Is Your Hair Made of Donuts?" illustrated to students the importance of eating healthy.

Molly not only read to the students, but sported quite a crazy hat made of what else, but donuts!

The Rhode Island Statewide Read for National Nutrition Month included over 75,000 students at more than 200 schools, libraries, youth programs and health centers.
