Navy to investigate death of submarine school student - News, Weather and Classifieds for Southern New England

The U.S. Navy's criminal investigative service is looking into the death of a student at the Naval Submarine School in Groton.
According to the New London Day, 25-year-old Seaman Apprentice Joshua Allen Woods of Memphis, Tenon. was found in his bed in the barracks Saturday morning.
His roommate said Woods was unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at a New London Hospital.
Woods had graduated from the basic enlisted submarine course in January.
