
Providence police are looking for a man who robbed a Citizens Bank branch on Wednesday.
Police said the man went into the bank at 1917 Westminster St. at about 11 a.m. and handed a teller a note stating he had a weapon. None was shown.
The teller put a dye pack in with some money.
Police described the robber as a black man about 6 feet tall in his 30s or early 40s. He was wearing a black jacket.
Providence police asked anyone with information about the robbery to call detectives at 401-243-6406 or email a tip to policedept@providenceri.com.
