WEST WARWICK, R.I. -

Police responded to a disturbance Wednesday night at D'Ambrosca Court in West Warwick.

Capt. Archibald said police are in the hunt for three or four suspects involved in a late-night disturbance.

Police were called to 9 D'Ambrosca Court, just a few miles from Route 33. That call came in at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said they don't believe there's any public threat associated with this crime as the two groups involved know one another.

Capt. Archibald said Wednesday's call to police came from inside the apartment where this incident took place.

NBC 10 was told a group of "uninvited guests," showed up to the apartment, a lengthy argument took place and as police arrived on scene the suspects fled on foot. One man is in custody, police are still searching for others involved.

Police say more information will be available when the public information officer arrives later Thursday morning.
