Join NBC 10 in welcoming home two-time Olympic medalist Elizabeth Beisel this Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. at the North Kingstown High School football stadium.

Sports Team 10's Frank Carpano will host the celebration, as Elizabeth and her family arrive in style fresh off her flight from London. This is a chance for long-time Beisel supporters and her new-found fans to welcome home the winner of two medals during the XXX Olympiad. The celebration will include some surprise guest speakers and a stirring video tribute to Elizabeth's accomplishments. The North Kingstown native won a silver medal in the women's 400-meter individual medley and a bronze medal in the 200-meter backstroke.

"North Kingstown, all of Rhode Island and NBC 10 couldn't be more proud of Elizabeth's accomplishments in London," said NBC 10 News Director, Chris Lanni. "NBC 10 is thrilled for the entire Beisel family, who did such a great job blogging for our viewers during their Olympic trip."

Event timing is approximate based on flight punctuality. The rally is also weather-dependent. Storm Team 10 is forecasting a rain-free Wednesday evening, with partly cloudy and muggy conditions. The athletic field concession stand will be open and refreshments will be available for purchase.

In addition to the North Kingstown High School parking lot, additional spill-over parking will be available at the Wickford Middle School, the Wickford Elementary School and Wilson Park.  Satellite lots open at 6 p.m. and shuttle service to the NKHS will be available.

Monitor NBC 10, turnto10.com and NBC 10's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nbc10) for any itinerary changes in the hours before the event.
