
NESN, New England's most watched sports network, and WJAR/NBC 10, the top-rated broadcast station in Providence, Rhode Island, announced today that they have entered into a content sharing partnership associated with NESN's Red Sox and Bruins coverage.
The partnership, which is similar to NESN’s content sharing deal with WBZ-TV in Boston, will utilize NESN’s Providence DMA signal. The Providence DMA ranks as the 53rd largest TV market in the country and includes all of Rhode Island as well as Bristol County, Massachusetts. Several regularly scheduled game-day activities targeted at fans in the Providence market will debut over two nights on Tuesday, May 29 and Wednesday, May 30, including:
