Joanne Schenck has been NBC 10's director of human resources since April 1998.
Joanne began her career with WJAR in June 1977 as secretary to the business and engineering managers, followed by eight years as executive secretary to the vice president and general manager. She joined the then-parent company of WJAR, Outlet Communications, in 1985 as personnel administrator. In 1992, Joanne was elected corporate secretary by the board of directors.
A graduate of Bryant College, Joanne was born in Springfield, Mass., and currently resides in Cranston. She serves on the board of Junior Achievement of Rhode Island
