Adam Bagni appears on NBC 10 as a sports anchor and reporter. He's also served as host of "1st and 10," "Varsity Life," "Summer Games Showcase" and pre- and post-game shows of Providence College and University of Rhode Island basketball on Ocean State Networks.
Many local sports fans are also familiar with Adam's work on radio, having previously served as a "Sports Flash" anchor on the WEEI Radio Network.
Prior to joining the station, Adam spent three years as sports director at WNCF, an ABC affiliate in Montgomery, Ala. In addition to anchoring and reporting local sports, he also hosted the popular "Inside the Tide" and Tigers college football show.
During his time down South, Adam covered many major news and sports stories, including two BCS National Championships, two Heisman Trophy winners, and SEC college basketball. In his final year, he won the Judge's Award for Television Sportscaster of the Year from the Alabama Broadcasters Association.
Prior to starting at WNCF, Adam worked in production for NESN, covering the Boston Bruins and Red Sox, including their 2007 World Series Championship.
Adam is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia. His men's basketball broadcasts earned him an award in 2006 from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters for Best Coverage of a Local Sporting Event - an honor he split with the broadcasters of the Philadelphia Eagles.
In addition, Adam has worked as a production assistant during remote broadcasts for ESPN, FOX Sports, and for NBC at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.
He also co-wrote the NESN documentary "Harry Agganis: Legend and Legacy."
