Southern Cross Corp. is seeking natural gas leak survey technicians for immediate placement. The jobs entail extensive walking over varying terrain, reading gas company maps, in all types of weather.

Responsibilities include detecting, locating and evaluating gas leaks and reporting to the gas company as a representative of Southern Cross. A $2.30/hour stipend is provided for use of own car. Successful candidates must be able to read, write and understand English and respond to questions from the public without causing undue anxiety.

A high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license, are required. Southern Cross offers paid training and requires a BCI and drug screen. More details are available at www.southerncrosscorp.com.
