NBC 10 Presented The Sixth Annual HealthFit Expo: A FREE Healthy Lifestyle Event
HealthFit Expo 2007 was held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 15 and 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center in downtown Providence. Sponsored in part by CVS, Roger Williams Medical Center, the Rhode Island Department of Health, Sleepy's and Six Flags New England, the event was a great day for the entire family.
This hands-on, interactive expo was absolutely free and featured new fitness techniques, on-the-spot health screenings and evaluations, live demonstrations plus unprecedented access to the best healthcare providers in Southern New England.
Visitors enjoyed live cooking demonstrations, the ever popular rock climbing wall, the NBC 10 interactive booth with soap stars from "Days of our Lives" and NBC 10 personalities, the Kid's Fun Zone and much, much more!
