'COPSWALK' to Washington for charity

Save This PageWOONSOCKET, R.I. -- Twelve Woonsocket police officers are on their way to Washington, DC on foot. On Friday morning the department held a ceremony to kick-off the 8th annual, 450-mile, “COPSWALK.”
The officers are raising awareness and money, for the organization called COPS, or Concerns of Police Survivors.
The officers are expected to arrive at the National Fallen Police Officer's Memorial in Washington on May 13.
