Who could have imagined, even as recently as most of your students were born, that technology would be so pervasive in our lives as to become nearly invisible yet absolutely central to our daily comfort, entertainment, and safety? In this Digital Age, we don’t notice the many simple and complex ways in which technology is integrated into our lives, and we take for granted that technology will constantly change and improve our lives. Since technology is of great interest to children and is so fully infused in our lives, technology is a perfect topic for curricular integration.

This guide is packed with exciting, engaging, and thought-provoking activities to enhance your curriculum. In this packet, you will find lessons that will help students better understand and appreciate the world in which they live, and make real-world connections to the many curricular areas you teach.
