With the students, make a list of the ways they think the FBI might use technology. Then look at the job descriptions within the FBI, in chapter 5, pages 93-141, in FBI Careers: The Ultimate Guide to Landing a Job as One of America's Finest, by Thomas Ackerman. See which "professional support career opportunities" do indeed rely on digital technology. Students may want to check the table of contents for a quick listing of the titles and then select the ones they think are most likely to utilize technology.
Technology
The sky's the limit for someone who wishes to enter a technology career. There are more jobs in the information and digital technology fields than anyone can imagine. The list gets larger every year. Ask students to search for jobs that are available now and have them speculate what jobs might be available in the future.
