Go to a weather Web site and download a program and come up with your own forecasts and compare that to what really happens. You can become your family's meteorologist.
Technology
In order to demonstrate to students that there is a cost associated with downloading, have them visit three different download sites: music, royalty-free images and movies. Ask each student to create a list of 25 of their favorite songs. Along with that, ask them to list five movies, and 25 pieces of artwork or photos.
Next to each song, movie and picture, indicate the cost to download these items from the Web. Include membership fees. How many of the downloads are free? How will they pay for these items?
