Leslie Yeransian grew up in the suburbs of Boston and says she's "thrilled to be reporting for NBC10. I've had my eye on this station for years."
She comes to NBC 10 after working in many facets of the media: radio, print, television and dotcom.
Leslie has been a field reporter for ABC affiliates in Palm Springs, Calif., and El Paso, Texas’s Washington D.C. bureau, as well as News 12's bureaus in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.
Leslie was a dotcom reporter in New York City for ABCNews.com, where she also managed the interactive sites for "20/20" and "Primetime." Her passion for storytelling started after interning for ABC's Brian Ross Investigative Unit.
Leslie graduated from Smith College with high honors in ancient history. She later earned her masters degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism with a specialty in business and economics from the Kellogg School of Management, where she was a Bloomberg Fellow.
Leslie's hobbies are improvisation, writing, painting and walking her Shih Tzu, Charlie.
