Jeff Latham returned to NBC 10 as a meteorologist in 2002.

Jeff graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1981 with a degree in geography/meteorology.

Following graduation, Jeff began working as meteorologist for a private forecasting company in the Boston area doing radio forecasting. He was admitted to the American Meteorlogical Society and received the AMS Seal of Approval for Television Weather.

Jeff came to NBC 10 in 1983 and worked as a weekend meteorologist and environmental reporter until 1992. He then moved to a station in Springfield, Mass., and worked there and went to law school at Western New England College School of Law.

Jeff returned to Rhode Island in 1998 and worked at WLNE while completing his law degree at Roger Williams University Law School. He was admitted to the Rhode Island bar in 2000 and has been practicing law full-time since then. He is a principal in the Providence firm Tate & Latham, specializing in medical malpractice defense litigation.

Jeff says his personal goal is to get his picture on the weather billboard on I-95!
