Harry Cicma

To say Harry Cicma "knows" sports in Southern New England would be an understatement; it's safer to say he "lives" sports in the area.

Harry comes to WJAR after holding weekend sports anchor positions at CBS-Springfield Massachusetts and ABC-Sioux City Iowa. He has also reported and produced for Time Warner TV in New Jersey and MASN-TV in Washington DC/Baltimore.

The Rutgers University graduate got his first start in TV right here at NBC-10 when he interned for two summers at WJAR Sports and WNBC. He later went on to work as a national production assistant for CBS, ABC and ESPN; and announced the US Open on International TV and Radio in New York City.

Harry is a Providence native and proud graduate of Classical High School; where he was the #1 ranked tennis player in the state, and went on to play for Rutgers' Division 1 NCAA team. The highlight of Cicma's tennis career was when he competed at the Newport Hall of Fame's ATP professional tournament, which earned him a No. 75 world doubles team ranking and No. 1262 on the entry system.

Whether it's producing "1st and 10" or "The Coach's Show," or anchoring sports, Harry is grateful to be back in the Ocean State.
