Barbara Beresford is director of marketing at NBC 10 WJAR.

She came to NBC 10 in December 2006 from the FOX affiliate in Las Vegas.

Barbara grew up in New England and graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in illustration.

She began her career as a broadcast designer at CBS and then ABC in Norfolk, Va.

Barbara then worked at NBC Dateline in New York City, Walt Disney Imagineering in East Hampton, N.Y., before becoming design director at NBC in Las Vegas and then CBS in Washington, D.C.

Barbara and her husband, Harry, live in Narragansett. They are happy to be back in New England by the ocean.
