FOXBOROUGH, Mass.—The New England Patriots are preparing for their second weeklong stay on the West Coast this season.

They’ll leave Friday afternoon for Seattle where they’ll play the Seahawks on Sunday. Then they’ll spend the next few days practicing at San Jose State for their game the following Sunday at Oakland.

The Patriots played early season games on the West Coast, beating San Francisco 30-21 and losing to San Diego 30-10.

New England coach Bill Belichick said the first trip allowed players to bond and spared them a coast-to-coast trek back.
