Tool thief caught on camera

Cranston police released surveillance video Thursday of a man stealing tools from a movie theater.
A security camera recorded the theft at the Park Theater in Cranston about two weeks ago.
Police said the thief stole several power tools valued at about $1,000.
The thief is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds. Police said he appears to be bald.
Investigators said there may be a connection to the cinema theft and the theft of $15,000 worth of construction materials and equipment from the Chapel View project on Sockanosset Cross Road.
Cranston police asked anyone with information about the thefts to call them at 401-477-5139.
