I think the site is much cleaner and has an overall continuity now. I like the navigation bar at the top - it’s much more logical to have categories rather than every page title listed like before.
I’m just curious, though - how do people think websites can continue to exist without ads? The way ads are displayed on this site is much less annoying than the previous one. It seems like the people who complain about ads would complain about ads on any site.

I have to agree with the majority of the people who have left comments. The new site is too busy and confusing. The old site was clearer and easier to use; much more user friendly. Maybe you should bring the old site back.

I am sure that a team really worked hard on this but I have to say it is not very user friendly. Most of the actual news appears ‘below the fold’. The ads are so overwhelming that you can barely find the news. I had a hard time finding almost everything. I am sure it is a matter of getting used to but I really didn’t get used to the last iteration of the site. I like the iteration before that better. It was cleaner and easier to use. Did anyone do any usability testing before building this and setting it live? Sorry.

I don’t like the new site either. I say scrap it and go back to the old one.

YUK !!! I really don’t like the new layout at all. The old site was clear and consice. This layout seem to be all over the place and not very visually appealing. Sometimes things are better left alone.

Not liking the new site at all. The setup is confusing. The scrolling news is frustrating and the text of the main headlines is too small. The older site still wasn’t as good as the one a few years ago but it was definitely better than the way it is set up now.
The advertisements are bigger than the actual news content! I will probably be going to another source for my online news now.
