FRAMINGHAM, Mass.—Police said a 16-year-old student was stabbed in the buttocks on the front steps of Framingham High School during a fight over a girl.
Police Lt. Paul Shastany said the boy was arguing Thursday with several other students when a teen who wasn’t part of the original fight came up from behind and stabbed him. The name of the boy who was stabbed has not been released.
Shastany said the victim ran inside the high school and the suspect walked away. One person involved in the fight is in police custody, but the person who allegedly stabbed the teen has not been arrested.
Shastany said the victim was flown to a Boston hospital, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening.
