A longtime member of the NBC 10 family has passed away.
Walter Covell began working at WJAR in the late 1940s. He worked in front of and behind the camera for more than 20 years.
Walter passed away Nov. 11. He was 91 years old.
Walter was the subject of an NBC 10 interview last year on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Watch the story in the player above.
