PITTSFIELD, Mass.— KB Toys has made it official—the toy retailer is shutting its doors for good. The Pittsfield-based company made the announcement Monday, four days after a bankruptcy court judge approved KB’s liquidation plans.
The company says it has lowered prices on all of its merchandise by at least 40 percent for its national going-out-of-business sale. The 86-year-old company operates 461 stores around the country.
