On the flip side of the Black Friday coin, Friday was Buy Nothing Day.
Every year at the end of November, environmentalists, social activists and advocates for the poor try to encourage people to buy less. Some people gathered in the heart of Providence to spread their message.
NBC 10’s Bill Rappleye reports.
