About 6,100 Serta zipper-covered foam-core mattresses are being recalled because they don’t meet federal standards to prevent them from igniting in the presence of open flames.

No incidents have been reported.

The mattresses were manufactured in the United States by Serta International Mattress Co.  They were sold by mattress retailers around the country between December 2007 through May 2008.

Consumers can find out more by calling 866-675-3853 or online at Serta or the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
