About A 10 Thanksgiving
NBC 10 is teaming up with Shaw's/Osco and The Salvation Army this holiday season to provide Thanksgiving meals for 3,000 families in need in Southern New England.
You can help by donating nonperishable food items at participating Shaw's supermarkets in Southern New England. Look for marked bins inside Shaw's/Osco stores in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. Donations will be accepted through Monday, Nov. 24.
Shaw’s/Osco will provide 3,000 turkey gift certificates to the Salvation Army for distribution along with the food collected. The Salvation Army will sort and distribute the food to families.
