NORTH ATTLEBORO, MASS.—Wal Mart has announced a settlement of up to $640 million with employees in several states.
The Sun Chronicle reports some of that money will be coming to North Attleboro workers. The agreement is to settle several class action lawsuits alleging Wal Mart failed to pay employees properly.
Wal Mart says many of the suits were filed years ago, and the allegations are not reflective of the company it is today.
