NBC 10 has been partnering with Adoption Rhode Island for more than 15 years. This powerful and award-winning news segment features a Rhode Island waiting child or an adoption-related story every Tuesday during the 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. news broadcast.
Adoption Rhode Island helps to prepare the children and plan and coordinate the segments. Many Rhode Islanders make their first inquiry about adoption as a result of Tuesday’s Child and approximately 60 percent of the children featured have been matched with permanent families following their segment.
